Results-Based Monitoring and Evaluation

Overview

The overwhelming number of monitoring and evaluation activities have been time-consuming and limited to reporting activities and producing output reports which are not more than “impact justification”. Unless those involved in M&E (data sense-making) are well-equipped with relevant skills, M&E will remain underutilised and not fully benefit the organisations.

The course covers the principles and practices for results-based monitoring and evaluation. The program equips participants with skills in setting up and implementing results-based monitoring and evaluation systems. It brings learning to practice for participants to learn about the results levels and their linkage with indicators and techniques for tracking and assessing the progress and outcomes of a project with the aim of achieving long term results.
