Effective Leadership and Emotional Intelligence
Overview
Most leaders’ ability to influence and drive organizational performance is undermined by their lack of emotional competence. Leaders prime the emotional state of the organization, so when they’re ineffective, when they set poor examples of how they treat other people, that trickles down throughout the company. The lack of emotional intelligence at leadership level has far-reaching consequences, resulting in lower employee engagement, performance gaps and a higher turnover rate.
This program aims to provide management with integrative and process-oriented approaches that blend emotional intelligence with leadership. It will help participants to gain an honest awareness of themselves and how their behaviour impacts others. We will move beyond the basics of emotional intelligence to concentrate on using it to build trust, manage difficult situations, build resilience, enhance team performance and lead for long-term success
